Here is the project that i am currently working on HG 1/144 Gundam 0 Type A.C.D, The reason that i bought this kit was because of the blog post from Gundam Guy, where he did a modification to the model kit, it was cool and it became my inspiration. For more info you can visit the direct link here. So the credit of the work goes to Gundam Guy since i used his work log as a reference to my modification. Well it is time that i want to try to do panel line scribing, something new.
To sum it up, I am quite satisfied with my work, considering the facts that this was my 1st time doing it. Well this not the best but there are still rooms for improvements and the tools that i used was just an olfa art knife. It is kinda sad because i couldn't find a hobby chisel, well saving money to buy it in the future.
Summary of work:
- studied the reference material from gundam guy work log
- scribe lightly using art knife, the area that wanted to be added additional line
- when scribbling try not to use to much power, this is what i did and shit happen and in the end, i try to be creative by cutting the line, instead of scribbling the line (SAD case, but worth it)
- Color the new line using black fine tip gundam marker.
- re-paint the basic color (it was a failure, total failure. Will review this next post)
- adding detailed painting
- Adding smoke effects
- Applying flat coat
