MC-MODEL HG 1/144 Rx-93 V Gundoom (Complete Straight Build)

Hi guys, this is abit late but finally managed to finish assemble all the parts for this MC-Model kits. Quick summary for this kits

Pro:
  1. Better Quality plastics
  2. Original Designs
  3. More Weapons
  4. Better detail as in the lining
  5. Price is competitive
  6. Packaging of the product is good.
Contra:
  1. Plastic quality does not 100% match bandai quality yet about 70% but better than Hongli definitely
  2. Hard to remove excess lining from paint as the not smooth surface will cause the paint to absorb faster into the plastics causing hard and long time to remove.
  3. There are parts that are abit loose but even beginner gunpla could fix it, no much a problem for me in this matter tho.
  4. if not treated with care the plastic joints will loose it strength in the future.
To conclude, for me this kit is good! it exceed my expectation compared to other bootlegs gundam kit. I will be posting more of this kits review in the future so stay tune and do not forget to leave behind comments!

RG 1/144 GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam (Unboxing + WIP I)

Hello world, today i am gonna share with you my experience in building Real Grade Gundam. As you know, all theses while i had been building HG 1/144 scale models and this time i am gonna take the same scale of gundam 1/144 but it is RG.

According to wikipidea on Gundam model article, RG was first introduce in 2010. The difference of this model kit from usual kit was it has inner skeletal feature like frame which is very close to the model of a Master Grade and a Perfect Grade model. This kit is amazing as the detail and feature of both MG and PG are all condense into the scale of 1/144. This something new for and building it will be fun and challenging. Another interesting feature beside the inner frame, the kit comes with sticker decal that a normal scale 1/144 grade does not provide, with that it added extra awesomeness into this kit.

The releases for RG so far was:
  1. RX-78-2 Gundam
  2. Zaku II char custom
  3. Zaku II Green
  4. Aile Strike Gundam
  5. Freedom Gundam
  6. Strike Rogue Gundam (expo limited)
  7. Launcher and sword strike weapon system
  8. MS weapon.
So far i had collected all of them expect for strike rouge because the reseller here price it alittle bit tooooo steep therefore i will buy another Aile Strike and paint it in pink color and we will have strike Rouge, if i manage to complete and get the kit, i will update it in this blog.

So what is the waiting, Go Grab yours now! Also do not forget to drop by ~ My Gunpla For sale  section, you fine something you like.

Here are the picutre enjoy!!

G Shot 2011

Just a quick update, today I just saw the G-shot competition hosted at Gundam Guy Blog. At first I thought that i will not be eligible to compete since all my gundam was straight build and as for painted build + decal is still in-progress. To be honest, i myself quiet surprised when i saw the straight build category, along with its prized of either HGUC 1/144 Banshee and Bansee Destroy mode. I am not into the price (although technically yes), but my main purpose was to test my gunpla building and modeling skill. Well I am looking into the result this early January, I am praying and hoping for the best. FYI, what I submitted was HGUC FA-78-3 Full Armor Gundam 7th.

Here it is:

I am out of words to describe this kit. It is just F(*&ing Good!! Enjoy! hehe

MC-MODEL HG 1/144 Rx-93 V Gundoom + WIP II (Painting Logo)

Hi guys i am back with my progress on Mc Model V Gundoom. Well life had been hectic for awhile and still manage a little bit of time for my gunpla life. This time, i manage to paint the logo properly and from previous experience from painting Shinanju Shield which i had not a good job. Basically, I try to scourge the internet for ways to paint specific parts for gundam, from my finding, there are some easier way to do this which is using marker. It seems that this way works as i am planning to buy some silver marker to paint the thruster and pipe joint on the leg with silver, it will be hectic job if using pain, another method was using masking tape to shield off areas that not intended for paiting and here is what i had put to practice from what i have seen and read from the internet.

Enjoy and stay tune for more updates! Coming, added the weapon attachment and some poses.

MC-MODEL HG 1/144 UNBOXING + WIP I (SNAP FIT + PANEL LINING)

Hello world! I am back again for more review. This time i am gonna do a review on MC-Model or known as Model Compremend, made in China Gundam. From what i experience before with TT- Hongli model, it was disappointing however with this model, they manage to come out with better quality model and plastic. The design was original and not copied like TT- Hong li. If people mark MC- Model as bootlegs product then i gonna say HELL NO! HAVE YOU BUILD ONE! Anyways this is just my personal experience, i am building this kit right now and seems to cant get enough of it. So here are the review, sit back and enjoy! hope you like it and do not forget to drop a comment or two, appreciate it very much! lol!

Stay tune for! well i am rushing for dinner sorry for the incomplete build! lol

HG 1/144 Shinanju Titanium WIP I (Snapfit) + WIP II (Paint lining)

Hi guys, today managed to do a little bit of coloring on the shield of Shinanju, however it seems that coloring went wrong and ended up doing lining. I believe that i should had used the reverse enamel wash technique (credit goes to Gamera Baenre) by coloring the shield in yellow using acrylic based and then using enamel black color on top of the colored yellow area (the logo) then cleaning the black enamel color that is covering the yellow acrylic paint from earlier, but seems like this process will be hectic as i do no have the time to that yet. lol perhaps during the holiday and i also need to get more supplies. Anyways please share you thoughts on this. Enjoy the picture.

ps: btw if you are interested in reverse enamel wash technique you can follow this tutorial from Gamera Baenre

HG 1/144 Shinanju Titanium, Finish WIP part 1 (SNAP FIT)

I am back and this time I brought along this bad-ass, Shinanju Titanium finish scale 1/144 HGUC. Well most of you should probably known about this model kit, which is from Gundam Unicorn series. From my point of view, Shinanju is an outstanding Model kit even in HG or MG well what would i say if bandai would release the PG version in the future, I am sure it will awesome.

From the WIP picture below you can see that I am still on "snap-fitting" phase. The assembling wasn't hard but the hardest parts is removing the excess nubs after snaping it from the runner. Well it is different from normal kit as this kit comes in glossy metalic coating which means if you are not careful in removing the excess nubs you might accidentally scratch coating which i did in MOST parts! God must hate me, lol. Anyways, for now I only manage to complete fitting the body and as for the weapon and backpack will have to find sometime when i am free. Here enjoy the picture.

    stay tune and Enjoy!

HGUC 1/144 full armor 7th gundam (WIP)

hi guys, I am back! This time I wanna share with you my current project of full armor gundam. When I first saw this kit, I kinda got the ideas that it will not be great kit as it looks bulky and heavy weapons and lots of backpack attachment although the name "full armor" sounded cool. In the end, i decide to buy the kit and finally bought it online. I felt regret after buying the kit online because bought it at high price, anyways now that i have gotten hold of it, it does matter.

Few days later, the kit arrived, feel so excited that i quickly open up the box and analyze the runner and color. What amazed me was the color of the runner as it molded so good that i dont think it requires much painting job. I can just do simple panel lining and spray some top coat to make it look kick ass. Another surprise was that, the design. With heavy weaponary system and bulky build this kit is very stable, able to stand on one legs without falling to the side.

Basically, i only manage to do snap fitting and panel lining.Right now the gundam is fully constructed however i am still waiting for my top coat, still wondering where should i get it from. lol here are the picture, many more picture to come as i am still building the photograph box. I will share with when i got it done.

HG 1/144 Gundam Exia 00 + 0 Raiser (HONG LI)

Finally another post. This time i will be doing a review ong TT HONGLI MODEL. Bought this KIT for around Rp.120,000 if converted to USD it will be around 12 USD (if my math serves me right). This is cheap FYI, but keep in mind that everything that are cheap doesn't always comes with good quality and this applied to the HONG LI kit. However, i enjoy doing the 0 raiser, as the kit is quite decent I guess, well if you ask me what about the other kit? Errrrrrr....that gonna be not good as perhaps I might had gotten the bad quality kit among the bad ones. As you can see in the picture, i managed to have proper build for the legs, body and arms part without any problem, the problems arises when i am about to join the head together, that is why you can see that the head is little bit tilted as the ball join was too big to be inserted. Overall, if you are buying this kit for the pleasure of building damage gundam or for experimenting with painting technique, go a head and buy, no harm! but if you wanna add it to your personal collection please considered it twice. Here are the pictures.

Enjoy peps! till next time! adios
