HG 1/144 RX-0 Unicorn Custom weapon Attachment II

Hi guys, this time I am back successfully attaching the shield on to the Gatling guns by using blu tack (it is like a putty that you use to attached thing together, and you can obtain it at any stationery store in your town). The main reason I used blu tack was the stickiness durability was higher compared to double side tape. Well you could try and if you have better ideas please pitch in the comment. Heehee, anyways will update more picture tomolo, as it is 1 am here and I need to wake up at 6 to work (unbelievable rite!! Sunday! Yes Sunday!!) and i just came back from long day of work, so pardon me for the rush! Anyways Enjoy!

HG 1/144 RX-0 Unicorn Custom weapon Attachment

Hi guys, today i would like to present you the Unicorn Gundam Double Gatling Gun attachment that i had bought in Singapore. This not the official Bandai parts, it is from DX Hobby and seems like this is China product but please do not be disappointed as the quality is quite good and FYI this HG 1/144 size. The only flaw is that, I cant attached the shield of the unicorn with the Gatling guns like the one appear in ep.4, i am still figuring out how to attach it, perhaps i need a little bit of modification (please leave some comments). Also, if you noticed i have not put paint the Gatling gun since, i am out of paint and going to re-stock soon and once my goods arrived, i am gonna do a re-paint on the bazooka. Here are the picture enjoy:

As you can see now that the unicorn looks awesome now. Next job will be adding decals and repaint some parts. Stay tune for more updates!! thanks.

Fixing Brokern Parts.

Hi fellow gunplas, Today i would like to share with you on how I fixed my broken Gundam parts. I believed that sometimes when we are assembling our kits or when we would like to take out certain parts, we accidentally snap some of the parts (the oh S*%# moment!), well if you are, then you are not the only one as I had the same problem as well. Perhaps we are nervous or just being too careful however you need not to worry as I am sharing with you this tips on how to make it right again also FYI, after sometime as you build more you will gain more experience and eventually you need not to worry one bit about snapping some parts.

Please do take note that, I had learned this technique from other modeler who posted his video tutorial on youtube 3 months ago so credit goes to him. Anyways this is how I do it!

As you can see in this picture, there is my 1/100 HG Heavy Arms - Custom EW version, YES that it is my OWW SH&% moment. As you can see next to that is a picture of my hand drill (0.5mm), bought it at the local hardware store. Size of the drill head are depending on the size of the hole you would like to make. Smaller parts that are broken are harder to fix as you need to have smaller drill.

Next you will see that i had drilled a hole on each of the snapped parts, this is in-order to insert a metal pin (next picture). The reason for the metal pin is that it will gives better bonding strength when the parts are attached together with super glue, compared to just using super glue to attach the parts together. This is to prevent parts from easily falling off or easily snap in the future.

As you can see clearly that i had attached the pin into the hole and glue it back together. Normally, i would leave the parts as it is to allow the glue to dry of properly and have good bonding strengths, although after 2-3 hours it will attached nicely but better play it save as you would not want to do it twice as it will be messy.

After, waited one full day, now the kits are fixed and now ready to be assembled again. I hope this tutorial will help you in the future when you are facing the same problem.

stay tune for more updates!

best regards

Ideas for Diorama Unicorn VS Shinanju (Titanium Finish)

Hi guys, this time I managed to complete the display bases which i bought from my Singapore trip. To display the awesomeness of my gunpla, it seems that firstly i need to upgrade my work table and also need to upgrade bigger photo booth. Right now with the current tool that i had, i tried my best to get the best photo shot. Another thing that I wished and prayed hard every night was to rain money in my room and to get salary raise.

Secondly, i think i should start building my first MG hehehehe (*smirking) since I had the minimum tools needed to assemble one and with mark setter & softer comes into the addition, i could practice abit of decaling.

This time around I am trying to build a Diorama of battle scene for Unicorn vs Shinanju (HG 1/144 Titanium Finish), but seems like it is far from what i had in mind and had imagine, well i believe that i still need to collect more material and perhaps some reference from magazine or other veteran builder. We will see into that when I am ready!

Basically, this what i manage to do so far:

Please comment and leave feedback, i believe there are lots of room for improvement.

Stay tune for more updates!

I AM BACK!!

Hi everyone! Sorry for the two weeks break as i had informed you before, i was away for Chinese New Year. I went to Singapore 1st and made a small detour to Kuching (Sarawak, Malaysia) to meet with my lolof (long lost friends!).

While i was in Singapore and Kuching, i manage to visit a few Gundam Shop and found a few interesting facts. To sum it up here are my comment:

Singapore Trip:

First of all, when i reach Singapore it was still Chinese New Year celebration and shops were closed. Most of the shops open on the 3rd day suprisingly fast there are some that open the 7th dan 8th. Luckily for these two hobby shop in Singapore, Hobby Point and Hobby Art they opened on the 3rd day. In my opinion, both shops are awesome as they had huge collection off both tools and supplies for gunpla building as well as ofcourse the gunpla model. I wanted to take picture with the shops owner so i could put it up on my blog and write good comments about them but guess what i am kinda disappointed with their service, firstly I got cheated at hobby Arts by one of its worker and secondly at Hobby Point i got very cold remarks from store owner. So i guess, I am just still a newbie that not worth to be entertain.

Here what i have bought in Singapore:
  1. Display Bases
  2. Micro Saw
  3. Micro Brush
  4. Airbursh cleaner
  5. Mark setter and Mark Softer (Mr.Color)
  6. HG 1/144 Gatling Gun for Unicorn

Kuching Trip:

Over here, i could not find alot of Gundam Shop as my stay was short, however i manage to find one Toy shop located on the top floor of Sarawak Plaza. Here they have huge collection of Lego and other types of type not forgetting Gundam. Since my stay was short I just strolled around the shop to see what i can get and i almost fainted when i saw the price, it was very expansive but the shop owner was the coolest mother i had ever met, she was a gunpla or so i could say because, the displayed gundam model was build by her son and she is the one that did the panel lining using gundam marker. This is interesting right, i wish my mom is like her and would complain my room full of junk (GUNDAM). woot!
